Good afternoon folks! And a lovely Sunday afternoon it is.

So in an effort to expand Modder's Network, I have been trying to think of ways to increase it's appeal to the overall modification-obsessed society. A few basic things I've thought of are as follows:

1.) Increase forum content; creating new forums within Mod'Net. Rather than being limited to modification of specific cars, as is the case with the other networks, we create general forums where anyone can describe how to modify something; many modifications are universal anyways!

2.) Expand versatility with the other networks; I, personally, view Mod'Net as not only a general modification website, but also as an index, as it were, to the other [car]Network websites. Strangely, Mod'Net is somewhat isolated from the other Networks. I think that further integration with the other websites would greatly benefit Mod'Net and ultimately lead to faster expansion.

3.) Make ModdersNetwork more user-integral; I think that by making the users of Mod'Net more a part of it's development, they would take a greater interest in the expansion of the network as a whole. This may be achieved through, perhaps, rating systems and whatnot, though additional suggestions would be appreciated (note that I don't know what all Pat and his magical fingers are capable of doing in terms of site development.)

Okay. So how does any of this involve you? Well, we Moderators have discussed these subjects, however I'd like to put it out there to you all as the forum clientèle. What do you think we could do in order to put the above into action? What ideas to you have to throw out to Modders as a whole?

In regards to the first point, adding forums such as Events / Regional Forum, Car Modification: Engine / Suspension / Electronic / Detailing, and Swap would be nice. Anything to add to that list further?

In regards to the second point, allowing posting access for all member on each network, regardless of where they signed up would be nice; i.e. if you create an account on WRXModders, you can post on EVOModders too. The truth is, a lot of people don't want to go through the hassle of creating multiple accounts if they only have a brief point to add on a different branch of the Network. Also, creating crossovers/links between the different forums might increase traffic throughout as long as posting is convenient for the user.

So, I've thrown my two cents out into the shark tank. What are your thoughts? Appreciate the feedback!

^ Perfect idea.

^Again, great idea. I think you've about covered it all..

Haha, thanks Chandler! I'm not sure how many of these ideas (particularly the access rights) are attainable, however, I'd like to try to increase traffic as much as possible (and hopefully create the newest-mega-modification forum in the process Razz ). I'm still sure there's something I'm leaving out here; be sure let me know if you think of anything!
